It was the moment when Taehyun is done texting with Baekhyun about their plan, the 5:5 parting haired guy comes back to chopping carrots.

As long as he is done discussing about his weird plan with Baekhyun, Taehyun knew that they could pull this out smoothly. Truth to be told, ByunTae couple never failed at things they tried before. Unity is strength, especially when two sassy divas plotting something together. That is why, the only important thing to do now is his stomach. Ooh, it's growling now. So the hard hip-hop boyband has changed to hardcore metal, eh?

Enough of these jokes, but seriously. He is hungry. Well, at least he knew how to cook something, even if it's not as tasty as Jinwoo's delicious foods. Yeah, FYI, Jinwoo learned how to cook since Winner TV. Maybe he was a nature-cook; everything he tried turns out to be 5 stars meals.

The scene of Jinwoo and Mino making out makes him kind of irritated. Not that he doesn't like them, hell; he ship them. But it's just that, he get to see Jinwoo's naughty side that he would never ever wished to know. Like, the hyung supposed to stay pure. His hyung is the mother of the group-apparently none of them suited to be the father- and Mino is the rebellious son. Somehow Taehyun is irked to see his 'mother' to act based on pure naughtiness with his 'son'.

While thinking about that, Taehyun managed to do a soup and fried rice enough for everyone. Thanks to Jinwoo who cooked them before, Taehyun knew the basics in making the breakfast. He hoped the meals would atleast taste good, or maybe even a little bit better that Jinwoo's. But he knew that's not possible.

He grab a bowl of soup and another bowl of fried rice for himself, but a pir of arms managed to wrap around his waist from the back. Someone's face is resting on his shoulder. Taehyun smiled a little, knowing too well who is the culprit.

"Hon, you should probably wash up first. This time, I'm cooking so you have to be perfect for this"

The guy on his back chuckled softly. Taehyun could feel Seungyoon's nose rubbed against his neck.

 

"Yeah, yeah. I will. But let me just hug you first," Seungyoon reasoned. Taehyun kissed the top of Seungyoon's head.

"My stomach don't have enough time to wait for you. Now be quick!" Taehyun still got a time to nag Seungyoon. He feels a little bit funny, since it's supposed to be Seungyoon who is nagging at him.

This both maknaes' relationship is quite unique, you might say. Normally, types like Seungyoon and Taehyun are most likely to ended up fighting or something like that. Instead, there always be teasing and personality change between them. Like, instead of Seungyoon, it would be Taehyun to nags all the time. And istead of Taehyun, it would be Seungyoon to have a sharp tongue and sensitive personality. But they never fight; never argue to a point where both of them would hate eachothers.

Seungyoon kissed Taehyun's lips, the runs away. That leaves Taehyun's face to twitch.

"Yah, Kang Seungyoon! How dare you do that to me with your smelly mouth?!" He yelled at Seungyoon, earning him a far laugh from the leader.

"Sorry, babe!" Seungyoon shout back with a chuckle at the end of his sentence. Taehyun couldn't help but to shook his head and smiled.

"That fucker"

Taehyun manages to put another 8 bowls to the table, only filling two for Seungyoon, in case Seunghoon to sleep his ass some more, and Jinwoo and Mino to take longer from their private time. That makes himself realize, he still haven't wash himself either.

He scoffed, headed to the kitchen's sink where he later wash his face and his mouth. At least a little fresher than stinky. After yelling at Seungyoon few minutes ago, he can't help but keep his pride up.

After done preparing himself and the meals, Taehyun sat calmly on the chair, patiently waiting for Seungyoon to arrive. Few minutes later, someone appeared to the kitchen.

But it was Seunghoon not Seungyoon.

Taehyun quickly point something in the back of his shoulder with his thumb. He then said, "Take the bowls and serve yourself"

Seunghoon gave him an overly bright morning smile-which is actually kind of annoy Taehyun sometimes- and gave him a pat on his shoulder while walking past him.

"Ooh, what a great thing this is, you finally cared about others! I'm touched~!" Seunghoon tease him with fake crying, mocking him as if Taehyun is somekind of rebellious son, who finally did something to impress his mom.

It brings a slight twitch to Taehyun's temple.

"Keep your mouth shut or else I'm not giving you any and leave you to starve to death," Taehyun said sarcastically. Seunghoon sweat-dropped.

"You are no fun~"

There's no pointless conversation after that between those two. As Seungyoon finaly managed to come back with much better appearance, and Jinwoo and Mino finally completed their 'good morning' activity.

As if nothing happened before, Jinwoo headed stright to the kitchen to discover Taehyun's breakfast.

"Taehyunnie, did you make this yourself?" The eldest ask, cheerful on his tone.

Taehyun nodded, turn his back to face the hyung, "I did. Sorry if it isn't as good as your meal," Taehyun gave the hyung a bow, which is actually never be done by the maknae towards anyone of WINNER, except for the hyung.

It actually bring tears to Seunghoon.

"How mean~" Seunghoon fake-crying towards Taehyun's picky side.

Jinwoo ended up knocking the counter few times.

"Aish, aish, you kids. Stop ruining the morning~!" He scolded his dongsaengs softly.

But Jinwoo's 'soft scolding' only makes the two more 'spoiled'.

"But he is the one who started all this, hyung~" Taehyun point at Seunghoon's face, blame the older to Jinwoo for what he's done just about 5 minutes ago.

Seunghoon gets offended by this, "But you are the one who didn't respect your older! How can it's only Jinwoo-hyung who earns your respect?"

Taehyun shoot back, "Cause an ass like you didn't deserve any"

"YAH!"

 

Mino look at Seunghoon and Taehyun in interest. This could be interesting, he is betting for Taehyun to win.

 

"GOGOGO! Nam Taehyun!" Mino shout, actually let out a dollar from his pocket.

Jinwoo seems to be surprised, and Seungyoon quickly gives a comment to the oldest.

"Hyung! Your scolding is too soft for those spoiled kids!"

The deer of WINNER take a note of the leader's opinion fast.

"YAH!" He actually shouted, hit the counter harder than he did before.

Good thing, because the room is in a complete silent as Seungyoon gives him two thumbs up.

This is what happened almost everyday on WINNER's dorm, and it's a good thing that they didn't really have any 'neighbor'. If they did, imagine every morning full of shouts, even curses.

From the kitchen, Jinwoo starts scolding his kids with the 'right way'.

"Nam Taehyun, Lee Seunghoon. You both are all grown ups, so starts apologizing now! Do we really have to do this every morning?"

The two puffed their cheeks, avoiding eye contact between them. Not even a word is out, when they starts sulking. This actually iritated Jinwoo for a bit.

"So you won't listen to me now?"

The aura become so tense, and Seungyoon coudn't help but to hold his laughter in place. While Mino starts complaining about the heat, "Is it just me, or is it hot in here?"

Having no choice at all, Taehyun stands up from his seat, and Seunghoon also stands up from the floor. They walks towards each others, and shake their hands. Half-heartedly.

"I'm sorry," They both said in unison.

Even if it's an half-hearted apologize, yet Jinwoo is still happy with it.

"Mino-yah, bring me all the remaining bowls, please"

Mino quickly stand up, and pick up the 6 empty bowls on the table. He brings them to Jinwoo, who began to fill the bowls one by one. With Seunghoon, they return to the table with their breakfast.

Jinwoo smiled as bright as the morning, as soon as he got a taste of Taehyun's hand-made breakfast.

"This is delicious, Taehyun-ah~!" Jinwoo compliment him, as Seungyoon is the one who takes the hyung's compiment.

"Of course my babe is great, hyung!"

Taehyun actually scoffed at this, "Just shut up and eat your breakfast, Hon," He said coolly.

They all finally be able to eat their breakfast in peace. Taehyun's breakfast is actually good, even when they all admits it isn't as good as Jinwoo's. But who could ignore such a meal if your stomach is craving to be filled?

 

As they finally completed the meal, Taehyun remembers his first step of the plan.

"There's something I need to tell you guys"

Everyone stopped dead from their activities. They all look at Taehyun in curiousity. The maknae then stand up, heading to the place where he put the envelope he received this morning.

"Just wait a second"

Few seconds later, Taehyun is back with an unknown envelope on his hand. The maknae back to his seat, and open the envelope.

"It's from the President," He begin, as everyone look at him in interest.

Mino is the first one to open up, "What did he say?"

Then Taehyun take out the letter. He hands it to Seungyoon.

"We finally got everything for our holiday"

A minute, they still reading. Mino is smiling like crazy, Seunghoon claps as if he is some kind of a retarded seal, Jinwoo smiled brightly, and Seungyoon smirked.

"So where is the tickets?" Seungyoon ask, he left the letter to Jinwoo's hand.

Taehyun give him the envelope. "It's inside. President Yang actually booked everything in the tickets. One each"

Seunghoon then shouted, "COOL!"

As an evil maknae he is, Taehyun smirked, but he hides it behind his hand.

"We better prepare; The trip is actually tomorrow"

All of them look at him in disbelief.

"EEEEHHH?!!!"

Byun Baekhyun finally managed to get himself clean, a refreshing morning shower thanks to Chanyeol. When he get himself dressed, he can't help but think about Taehyun's invitation. It actually can be considered as a good idea, since he wanted to be reunited with Taehyun. And he think it's a good thing too; since he could be able to watch the cute couples of WINNER.

When he is done, he headed downstairs, only to find everyone is on the living room, mostly watching the television. With a smirk, Baekhyun wave his hand like what Miss Universe would do. "Hello, bitches~"

Everyone shook their heads, completely used to Baekhyun's sassy ass. Chanyeol wave back at him, with that stupid big wide grin.

"Over here, love!"

Baekhyun walk towards Chanyeol, and take the space beside the Happy Virus.

"I'll allow you get closer to me, since you've showered"

That's what actually happened almost everyday inside EXO's shared dorm. Where everyone would ended up in the living room, all coupled up and doing things on their own. Baekhyun decided it's a good thing to actually start his plan for tomorrow.

"Hey, everyone. What about a vacation?" He started, really straight forward, never really care to even bother to 'read the author note'.

It's Kai who's the first one to respond, "Where is this come from, Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun gestured Chanyeol to take the mirror and the blue eyeliner on the table.

"Come on, don't be too surprised~" He said, cupped Chanyeol's cheek as his thanks.

"It's actually quite a good idea!" Tao butts in, felling all pumped up and excited. Sehun pats his head.

"Tao is true," Sehun adds.

 

Kyungsoo, who looked like he didn't give a shit at all, actually look up to Baekhyun.

"I'd love that," He said in his usual flat tone.

Xiumin, who is considering the idea, finally nodded, "Then it's settled!"

Lay hi-5-ed Xiumin, "We could catch some spa!" They both said in unison. While their boyfriends, Chen and Suho could only chuckled.

Baekhyun then hug Chanyeol, then smirked behind his back. Ooh, you guys are so wrong.

Baekhyun returned with a soft smile.

"Then what are you guys waiting for? It's tomorrow!"

All of them shouted in disbelief. Well count Kyungsoo out, he just silently surprised and his eyes went all wide.

"We didn't even know where we are going!" Kai complained. Even Lay and Xiumin who are the ones to agreed the most, nodded at Kai's sentence.

After finished putting his eye-liner(actually he finished it way before he hugged Chanyeol), Baekhyun rolled his eyes.

"Ohh, puhlease. You think I'm coming out of nowhere before actually thinking about this?" 

Actually, yes. He didn't know where exactly in Jeju-do they will ended up for the days. He will find out once Taehyun called him.

"I have a friend that is waiting in Jeju-do"

Once again, shouts filled the dorm. This time, Kyungsoo is included, even if his shout isn't as loud as everyone else.

"We are going to Jeju-do? OMG, OMG!" Tao really couldn't believe himself.

A handfan actually came out of nowhere and ended up on Baekhyun's hand. He fanned himself as badass as possible.

"Of course, of course~"

And that's, how the conversation ends to both groups, as they all running towards their rooms to pick up their things.

Like, who doesn't want to go to Jeju-island?

It was somewhere in december, few days after MAMA ends, the popular group EXO finally got their most awaited holiday.

Somewhere in South Korea, there's a dorm shared by-now-10 people. It's only 8 in the morning, so majority of the people in the house are still sleeping. Except for Byun Baekhyun and Park Chanyeol.

Baekhyun is sitting in the living room, totally has nothing to do with waiting for Chanyeol to completes his shower. Honestly, since this is the beginning of their holiday, Baekhyun has no intention to get up early. Blame Chanyeol for giving him headache because of his oh-not-so-manly giggling over something Baekhyun has no grip of. When he was about to yell at Chanyeol, the said guy runs to the bathroom and starts doing God-knows-what. Now that he can't go back to sleep, so he wait for his turn to shower.

Here he is, staring at the ceiling, thinking about something. Just kidding, he is thinking about nothing at all. He can't really focus on his original thought, because just about 10 minutes ago, Lay starts moaning from his room, and it's diving him nuts. Goddammit, Suho. Why early in the morning? If Chanyeol were about to do that to him, he will make sure to kick and punch his junior til he surrenders completely. No one should woke him up like that.

Baekhyun starts to get more and more annoyed. Lay's moans gets louder by the second. So he grab his phone, trying to play any kind of song as long as he couldn't heard that fucked up noise this eary morning. He settles for his 'Hip-Hop' music library. The first one to play is GDXYB's Good Boy.

But no luck, the high volumed song isn't strong enough the hellish voices.

Then Tao's high pitched scream could be heard clearly on his ears.

Shit.

Can't bear it, he screams for himself, "GODDAMMIT YOU GUYS! CAN YOU PLEASE CALM THE FUCK DOWN?! GEEZ!!!"

His scream brings out the oldest hyung, Xiumin, with a very sleepy face, and messy hair.

"Are you okay, Baekhyun?" Xiumin asked him, another sleepy face popped up behind Xiumin's head.

Now he felt a little bit bad, seems like there is a couple that disturbed by his early scream. Count it to two, because Kai and Kyungsoo still in deep-

"Ahh... Slow down, Kai!"

Oops, count it back to one.

 

The three guys sweat-dropped. And Baekhyun is ready to bang his head to the floor. Acting out as the wisest of all, Xiumin walk by each door, and give it some soft knocks.

"Yah, tune it down, please. You guys aren't the only ones live here~" He said, done it to the other two.

Baekhyun is grateful, Xiumin is always one he can count on. While Chen? He seemed to be overly proud to his precious boyfriend.

When everyone finally to do their 'jobs' in silent, Baekhyun nodded in approvement, back to his phone again. He has to check his instagram, he bought a blue eyeliner online few days ago, so he has to check the delivery progress.

But the first post to appear is from Winner's Nam Taehyun, username SassTaeSang.

Taehyun was once tend the same junior high and high school as him. They are best friends, best buddies, and best partners in crime. They posseses so many things in common, so they what people these days would call the "ByunTae" couple. Search for the meaning online.

SassTaeSang posted about a picture he knew as Winner's oldest Kim Jinwoo, with the Rapper, Song Mino. Oh, did Baekhyun mentioned that they are kissing-making out-in that picture?

Baekhyun reads the caption inside his mind;

-Guys seriously needs a room. Like, they kept doing it everywhere inside the house! Seriously, kitchen? Yuck-

Baekhyun rised an eyebrow. Oh, how interesting. So Winner has a couple too? No doubt he kept hearing some gossips about Jinwoo and Mino's overly closeness. He is curious. Did Winner has any couple too?

So Baekhyun decided to send Taehyun a text.

Baekhyun 08.15 a.m. : Hey, bro! Can I ask you something?

Taehyun just woke up, he checked the clock on his room. Oh, it's 8 a.m...

He walked out of his room, walks outside the dorm to check the inbox in case the President sent them something. It's cold, yes it is since it's winter now. Quickly, he checked the inbox. There is an envelope there. From who? Bingo, it's from the President.

Headed inside again, Taehyun checked if someone's up. But seems like no one except him, a rare thing Jinwoo-hyung isn't there to greet him this morning. Whatever, he better check out the message inside the envelope. Instead of emails, YG always use letters to inform them something. Great thing, since no one other than Seungyoon got an official email from the company.

Taehyun dropped the envelope, and starts reading the message.

Hello, this is your president, Yang Hyun Suk.

As you see, you attended the MAMA and completed the schedule I made for you. Until the next project, I am giving you a holiday. Lasts from the moment any of you receive this letter, up to January 9th 2015.

For your payments last month's and this month's extras, I already sent it to your private account. You should probably check it out. And, I have some tickets to a very great hotel back in Jeju-do. It's supposed to be mine, but I have some more important things to do. No one wanted to take them, so I am giving them to you.

Enjoy your holiday, BUT DON'T BE LAZY.

Taehyun sweat-dropped at the last sentence. Typical YG style, yes. But whatever. He take back the envelope, checking if there is anything else there. Yup. 5 tickets complete from the plane ride to Jeju-do, the hotel reservation, til the plane ride back to their dorm. Good thing, even there is absolutely no compliment on the letter, at least YG cared about them.

He put back the letter and the tickets back to the envelope, and put it on the cofee table. He is hungry, guess cooking for himself is a good option instead for waking Jinwoo up. But before he even approached the kitchen, a soft thump could be heard from there. Taehyun frowns. Is it mouse? From what he remembered, their dorm is mouse free. Did the owner lied?

He approached the kitchen to find out what's going on there. His eyes twitching as soon as they discovers something kind of annoying.

It was Jinwoo and Mino making-out.

He grab his phone from his pocket, open the camera application without even looking. He is just too focused on watching and sweat-dropping, but he knew exactly how to snap a picture without even looking. This is so gonna be on instagram, he is sure of that.

After done snapping some photos, he put his phone back. He rubs his temple. Seriously? They both didn't even notice Taehyun is there.

"Early in the morning? And the kitchen, seriously?" Taehyun suddeny complained, making the two lovebirds jumped in surprise. Mino is glaring at him, while Jinwoo looks extremely embarassed.

"Oh no, please continue. But please, get a room. I need to cook our breakfast"

Jinwoo mouthed a sorry and a bow, then lead Mino out of the kitchen. Still glaring, Mino whisper something to Taehyun.

"Fuck you"

And Taehyun rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah. It's for Seungyoon to do, not you, jackass!" He reply back, voice loud enough for Mino to hear. But Jinwoo punch Mino's ribs, prevent him from replying back.

As they disappeared, Taehyun take back his phone, and opens his instagram account. He select the best picture he shoot, and writes his thought.

-Guys seriously needs a room. Like, they kept doing it everywhere inside the house! Seriously, kitchen? Yuck-

Then he posted it. He put his phone in the counter, and starts taking out things from the refrigerator. His stomach sounded like there is a newly formed Hard Hip-Hop boyband inside. So he'd better be fast.

 

But then, his phone vibrates loudly. Taehyun can't help, but to put the knife down from chopping a carrot.

Oh, it's Baekhyun. What a surprise, really. He didn't expect to receive a text from Baekhyun this early. So he starts to wake up early? Good thing for him!

Baekhyun 08.15 a.m. : Hey, bro! Can I ask you something?

Taehyun frowns. He texted back.

 

Taehyun 08. 16 a.m. : Seriously, anything.

Not even ten seconds later, he receive a new reply from Baekhyun.

Baekhyun 08.16 a.m. : I saw your instagram update.

He receives another.

Baekhyun 08.16 a.m. : Who are you with?

Finally. He knew Baekhyun's gonna ask this to him sooner. As expected, from EXO's Gossip queen.

Taehyun 08. 17 a.m. : The leader. Seunghoon is the only one left, tho. What about yours?

Taehyun rests his back against the refrigerator. This is getting more and more interesting, he coudn't help but smirk.

Baekhyun 08. 17 a.m. : You know the tallest one with ears like a fairy? Park Chanyeol. Other than that? The one with the sweet dimples and our leader, Lay and Suho. The short one with pair of big eyes with Taemin-sunbae's twin, Kyungsoo and Kai. The tall panda and the one with the same hairstyle as you back at MAMA, Tao and Sehun. Lastly, our eldest and chubby hyung and the one who is singing with Tiffany-noona, Xiumin and Chen.

Oh wow, that is some serious fact he can use. Good thing he is best buddies with Baekhyun. Then something hit his mind.

Taehyun 08.18 a.m. : Wow. Anyway, are you guys free?

Baekhyun really text fast!

Baekhyun 08.18 a.m. : Urh, Yes. We just got the holiday. What about it?

 

Taehyun chuckled. Oh, this is so gonna be interesting.

Taehyun 08. 19 a.m. : Jeju-do. Tomorrow. All of you. Let's get married.

Baekhyun 08. 19 a.m : Excuse me?!

Taehyun rolls his eyes.

Taehyun 08. 19 a.m. : No, you moron. Let's make a mini game! Let's get married, let's see what each couple would do.

Actually, took about a minute before Baekhyun replied. Seems like the guy's busy giggling. Yes, Taehyun knew him well. In fact, too well.

Baekhyun 08.20 a.m. : Bet how much, every second will be rape time.

Baekhyun 08.21 a.m. : But we should make some rules.

For once, Taehyun actually face-palmed himself because of Baekhyun.

Taehyun 08.21 a.m. : Of course we will. So, is this a deal then?

Baekhyun immediately reply.

 

Baekhyun 08.21 a.m. : Deal! >.<

Taehyun smirked widely. He actually chuckled evilly.

He is so looking forward to this.

Run.

All he had inside of his head was to run. Run for your life, never dare to look back. Maybe it was the best choice for him. But from who? Running away from what?

He has been running for around thirty minutes, he doesn't know anymore. Maybe he was running away from a bear, or anything that was fast enough to rip his liver out. Or maybe someone. Was he kidnapped? Or did he stole something precious from someone?

The forest is way too deep. How did he ended up here in the first place? Running for so long has shut down some of his senses. He can't see clear. He can't hear any other than the sound of whatever he stepped on. His legs are so numb, despite the fact that he is running so fast non-stop. Maybe his feet are bleeding, but he can't feel anything. Not even the ground.

But one thing though; his lungs are giving up on him. His kidneys are hurting so bad. But he doesn't want to stop. Not here, not now.

Before he even knew it, he fell down. Hard. Cheek first and his chest. It hurts. He look to the left, only to greet a blinding light coming towards him. But before he passes out, he could make up a worried sentence;

"Mister! Are you okay?"

He woke up in a strange room. A dim source of light, a couple of chairs, a grey table, and a large mirror that covers half of the wall to his left. He is sitting on the chair, his whole body is aching all over. The hard chair isn't helping either. He then realized that he wasn't sleeping on the chair. He woke up somewhere before, maybe a bed, and has been spacing out for probably-

"You've been out from us for about ten minutes, sir"

He is taken aback by the voice. He look up only to find a blonde woman sitting on a chair in front of him. Wait. Us? What did she meant by that? She is completely alone! Other than him, of course.

Well, he noticed that her voice was soft and careful. But that didn't stop the fact that he is shaking now. He could feel a panic attack coming up. But somehow, he feel a bit safer here. Maybe away from what or who he was running from.

 

"Breathe, sir"

He just realized that he wasn't breathing since she spoke to him. He unconsciously follows her instruction, made him calm somehow. But his muscles are still tense.

She sighed at this, but smile afterwards, "My name is Val. Well, call me Val. I am harmless and here to help you"

The word 'harmless' and 'help' somehow make him relax a bit more. Maybe she is evil, but he knew somehow that she wasn't the one he was running from.

Val knew better than start speaking to him sooner. He need a few seconds or minutes to get himself all together. And so she was a bit fine with this. She spoke to him two minutes later.

"I'll be asking you questions, if you are okay," Val hung his sentence, waiting for the man in front of her to respond. Five seconds, and he nods.

She is smiling, the best calming smile she ever mastered. It gives the man the will to trust her and she is happy by this.

"Who or what you were running from?" She asked as careful as possible, afraid that he might take things differently.

Val could see that he is thinking, digging his mind to know the answer. But he came up with a frown, and shaking his head.

"I don't know." That was what she expected from the man. The possibilities of him not knowing anything is high on his case.

She nods back to him, as she prepares to ask the next question.

"Do you by any chance know your name, sir?"

Hearing that, a flash of blurry memory appear on his mind. But he can't make up anything beside a voice in the back of his mind. A name, much more likely.

"Brian!"

"Brian?" He copies the name and confused by it.

Was his name really is Brian? Or maybe that was the name of the guy he was running from?

"Jimmy..."

Then whose Jimmy?

He could hear she sighed, pulling out a piece of paper from her file. He just noticed that she had a file all the time. His heart beating so fast when she handed the paper to him. He took it carefully, and start examining what's on the paper.

It was a picture of a man, probably around 22 or maybe younger. He has black hair, pale skin, arms covered in tattooes and snakebites on his lips. However, the man's eyes are what caught his attention.

Glowing emerald eyes are starring right back to him. They looked somehow familiar-

Then it hit him. He quickly look at the mirror on his left. Then his own reflection shocked him.

"Zachary James Baker," she begin, sucked all of his attention to her, "You've been missing for 6 years"

It is not a lie, to say that the Seirin Basketball had cried their eyes off.


After the death of one Kuroko Tetsuya, many people who were close to the teal-haired teen, mourned the death of him. Hyuuga and Kiyoshi, who both had considered Kuroko as their little brother, can't stop crying for two days straight. Kagami Taiga was the one person that stayed by Kuroko's side since the smaller guy was at the hospital until the end of his funeral. Riko, who had loved Kuroko as his little brother she have always wanted, cried like there is no tomorrow.


The Generation of Miracles attended the funeral too, because Kuroko is a part of their family. Kise and Momoi cried the loudest at the funeral, hugging each-other for any comfort they could found with that. Midorima, who is famously known of his tsundere personality, also cried – still not as much as Kise and Momoi did. For once, Murasakibara stopped muching his snacks and cried – the giant showed everyone just how much he cared for his ex-teammate. Aomine Daiki was no better either. His image as a strong man was shattered to pieces that time, but not that he cared. The only one who didn't cry is Akashi Seijuurou, the former captain of Teiko middle school basketball club. But they knew better, that Akashi is the one who hurt the most.


Kuroko died because of exhaustion. Seirin had lost to Rakuzan, and they understand that Kuroko was sad with the fact that he can't bring back the old Akashi Seijuurou. But what they didn't know was that their defeat has taken its' toll on Kuroko's mind. Since that time, Kuroko had been practicing non-stop – occasionally he would have forgotten to eat or sleep. They didn't stop him; knowing that Kuroko needs some time alone.


That was when he passed out on Seirin's practice court – they didn't know that's the end of Kuroko Tetsuya. They thought that he might be so exhausted, and need some rest. So they brought him to the hospital. But when almost three days without consciousness, they grew scared. Their worst nightmare came to reality, as God has taken the invisible guy back upstairs.


They had cried, mourning for the loss of their dear brother. The small guy with big determination and the will to fight has decided to give up.


After just some weeks being 'woke up' by Kuroko of how important Basketball is to himself, Aomine find himself truly hates basketball this time. The sport that he used to love so much, the sport that brings him to good friends as such as his Tetsu, became the sport that drove him away from the guy. He wants to quit Touou – to quit basketball – once and forall. But somehow, he can't do that. Somehow it's like Tetsu told him to not to stop. and so does he listens.


Midorima still being a Tsundere. But from his usual one lucky item a day, instead he brought two everywhere he goes. When some people asks him why two, he just answered them; "For better luck". but they knew better. Takao had checked Oha-Asa one day – and true, the other one is an Aquarius', and from what the Hawk's eyes know, Kuroko was an Aquarius.


Kise isn't as cheerful as before, and Kasamatsu could completely understand this. Kise barely follow the team's practices, okay. But Kasamatsu still got his eyes on Kise – hell, who knows Kise would do something stupid like that Kuroko guy did, right?


Murasakibara was no better too. The usual mountains of chips he always brought with him everywhere, now just left one or two bags of chips. Not much. Himuro Tatsuya does the same as Kasamatsu does; let them mourning, but keep in check about their movements. If Kuroko knows about this, he might have be the one who would scold them.

 
Momoi still in a serious mourn. Instead of visiting Kuroko's grave, she visits his home every now and then, to keep the home clean, but never dared to move a single object. She even kept on paying Kuroko's phone bill, so she could call him anytime, just to hear her crush's voice via the voice mail.


Akashi Seijuurou too, wasn't satisfied with what he had done. If anyone would ever be blame of Kuroko's death, it would definitely be him. The captain of Teikou's and Rakuzan's basketball team, was the one who probably made Kuroko depressed. He had said to Kuroko before that he already got a replacement for him as the Sixth Phantom Player. He just abandoned Kuroko with words – and actions, if you mentioned of how Rakuzan had slaughtered Seirin in the last quarter.


Seirin too felt it. They continued their practices, with exception now every week's saturday, the day of Kuroko's death, become a routine visit to Kuroko's grave. They brought Nigou too, since now everyone of them raise the poor mascot of their basketball's club. Kuroko's not here to raise Nigou, so instead of leaving him – like hell they would –, they raised Nigou with schedule. For example, this week's Monday Nigou stays with Riko, the next day with Hyuuga or Kiyoshi, and the other members who ere kind enough to take care of the dog. Keep going like that, even Kagami said yes to be part on the schedule.


In all honesty, they felt that Kuroko is yet to leave them. One way or another, they would feel that Kuroko somehow is around them and is watching them somewhere. And sometimes, it could be proved by Nigou's way of acting sometimes, like the dog would lick the air beside the gym's bench. Lick it just like Nigou does when he sees Kuroko.


Kagami too – knew too well that Kuroko is still around. With sometimes he saw Kuroko standing somewhere, and disappeared in a blink of an eye. Kagami could've even swore that Kuroko always woke him up when a killer teacher entered the class. But instead of coldness of mourning, it only became nostalgic warm. He couldn't help but smile. And just like what's happening today.


Aida Riko lead her boys to practice as usual. Screaming for one of her boys to do this and that, or correcting them to do what they are supposed to do. They were practicing for a couple of hours now, until they could feel something, as if someone's watching them. The warmness – Riko couldn't help but smiled softly. And then, Nigou does it again. The dog approached the side of one of the bench there, waving his tails happily, licking the empty air. All of them saw this, and can't help but smile. Sadly, but happy at the same time.


"So you're still here..." Izuki was the one who broke the silence. All of them smiled at the hyper Nigou, who seems really happy to the air, as they believe is Kuroko.


Kagami couldn't help but smirk. Kuroko you bastard. Why would you die in the first place? If this what you kept on doing, one way or another, they will be truly sad. He let out a sigh. Somehow, he could see Kuroko sitting on the floor, his knees folded in front of his chest, his left hand petting Nigou's head. Kuroko looked so pale – and transparent. He is using Seirin's uniform.
But then, Nigou whined. His eyes looked so sad, and his ears are down slightly. Nigou's tail isn't as hyper as it did just few second ago. They shook their heads at this. Riko couldn't help, but crying in silent. Kagami knew this is gonna happen.


'Why would you leave?'


It was kind of late at night, when Kagami just done washing himself clean. He has already put his clothes on, now standing at the kitchen – ready to serve himself self a plate of food. It was, until he saw a familiar sight.


Kuroko – or the ghost of him, is standing beside his refrigerator. He eyed Kagami with that usual deadpanned expression. Kagami doesn't freak out anymore, he still doesn't get why, now that the teal haired teen figure is now transparent. He continued in preparing his food anyway, but still doesn't take his eyes off of the ghost.


He doesn't say anything, knowing on how Kuroko probably won't or can't answer him anyway. He smiled slightly at the ghost, but enough to be seen by the ghost. But what makes Kagami so surprised, is that Kuroko smiled back at him – not a big smile, really. But a small, yet too kind smile, the one he rarely pull.


But somehow, Kuroko looked really apologetic.
 
'I am sorry'

 
Kagami is totally taken a back by this. Did Kuroko just spoke to him? He just did, right?
But when Kagami was about to reply, Kuroko disappeared.


The currently Seirin's Ace, Kagami Taiga, couldn't help but smile brightly all the way to Seirin high school. Usually, some people will think he is some kind of a weird psycho with his smile. But now, his smile brings smile to other people face as he passes by.


He can't stop smiling because of what's going on in his mind right now – the memory of the dream he had last night. Usually, he won't remember any dream fully when he wakes up. But different from today, he remembers everything clearly.


He dreamed about Kuroko. The main reason of himself happy right now.


Kagami was standing at the top of the Seirin high's main building, watching the sun going back to its place, somewhere behind the mountain. His face is colored orange by the sun light, his red hair is now looking more like fire that is burning proudly.


Beside him, a smaller man stood quietly.


"Kagami-kun," Kuroko called, make the said person turn his body to the side fastly. Kagami who spotted the smaller guy immediately look at Kuroko with shocked expression.


"How can you be here? Isn't this is my dream?" Kagami asked to theghost who is now in his dream.


Kuroko didn't reply at that question, he looked kind of sad, "I am sorry," He said, meaningfully. Kagami is taken by surprise. Sudden guilt built up on his stomach.


"What was that for?" Kagami asked, his tone raised one not higher. But he couldn't hide the surprised tone in there.


Kuroko eyed him with that puppy eyes, the one Kagami honestly weak with. "I don't plan on making you guys sad."


They both silent for quite some minutes, before Kagami breaks it, "You should be, idiot. But what's more, apologize to yourself! You've hurt your own body! Look at you!" Kagami said half-shouting. He just shout or even raised his voice, buthe couldn't bring himself on hating Kuroko.

"Sorry"


Kagami sighed at this. He walked closer to the smaller guy and pat the teal lock. It's still as soft as he could remember. "Be happy there, kiddo," He said with a smile, much to Kuroko's shock.
"What do you mean?" The ghost asked confusedly. For once, Kuroko Tetsuya couldn't understand Kagami's sentence.


Kagami smiled widely at him, "Sometimes you looked sad, idiot!"


Kuroko raise an eyebrow, "You can see me?" 


"You never see those looks from us?"


"I thought they just saw Nigou's actions?" He asked back. Kagami chuckled slightly.The red-haired man is resting his hand on top of Kuroko's baby blue now.


"It isn't the same without you, you know... The Generation of Miracles are all shocked by your death." Kuroko grew silent, before nodded.


"I see."


Again, both silent. They enjoyed each others' company. They haven't been like this since quite some time right now. Since Kuroko's death, they've been torn apart from each others.
"Kagami-kun..."


Kagami look at Kuroko, confused, "What?"


Kuroko smiled, so beautiful, even Kagami is shocked, "I will still be your shadow, and you will also be my light, no matter what will happen "


And Kagami also smiled widely, "Of course!"


A small vibration on his pocket, Kagami take his phone out. He checked the red phone with a teal-colored basketball, the one Kuroko gave him months ago. He examine his phone's screen, surprised to see Kise has sent him a text. With a shrug, he opened the text anyway :

I dreamed about Kurokocchi last night.

Anybody also did?

Kagami smiled at this. That Kuroko. So he decided to enter the others' dreams, eh? He doubted if he's the first one who got visited by him. He text Kise back :

Me too.

And he sent the text. He put back his phone on his pocket, and head straight to the gym. Since today the teachers had informed them that this will be a free day, so he can't waste his time around and go to practice.


Kagami made his way to the gym. As soon as he arrived, he is greeted by the basketball players plus Nigou, who all had arrived at the gym first. Not saying that he is always there first, but this is the first time he arrived last.


"Oh, what's the gathering?" He asked, quite confused of the gathering, before throw his bag on the bench.


Riko look at him with a concerned look, "Kagami-kun also dreamed about Kuroko-kun too?" Riko asked.


Kagami looked confused, "How did you know?"

 
Koganei nodded in understanding, "I guess we all did."


Kagami looked so surprised, "Eh, You guys too? Kise's texted me earlier too!" He proclaimed.

"NO WAY!"


But then again, all of them are happy.


After all, Kuroko did gave them his goodbye.

+They loved each-others deeply. All they wanted was for the world to accept them – the seventh Hokage of Konohagakure with the ex-world top class criminal – as an item. But maybe, they got their hopes up too high. There come the time when Naruto finally gave up and the broken hearted Sasuke is making the world pay. As there is nothing left in the world, the last Uchiha found a way to be reunited with his love again. And by reunited, means time-travel. Of course, the past Sasuke isn’t going to take this too lightly+

   One day, rivals wouldn’t be the rivals they always have been. One day, two completely different individuals who despised each-others would start accepting the other’s flaws. One day, the night would cry when the day isn’t there to support it.

   And one day, Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke wouldn’t be ‘brothers’ or ‘rivals’ anymore. Instead, they will be lovers – they will stand up for each-others while holding hands. One day, there will be words of love instead of curses like they always did when they were kids.

   It all happened, just as soon as the Shinobi world war ended with victory on their hands. There were tears of joy, there were smiles of relief, and there was a kiss they shared – with so much love for each-others. A kiss with so much unspoken words – they need no further explanation. They waren’t denying it like they used to do – the kiss wasn’t an incident like the previous kisses. They both wanted it without having to say it out loud.

   They were deeply in love. They were so madly in love. They know what the other wants just by looking at their eyes. The bluest of blue meeting the darkest of night – they are connected by their love. And they are made for each-others and they knew it.

   But both Sasuke and Naruto knew that telling the world about their relationship – especially just as soon as they realized their feelings – will never be a smart move. At least not yet – not now. The world need some time before they could finally accept them. Hopefully they will.

   Two years. Two years after the war and they kept everything silent. Sasuke left Konoha – or so it seems to everybody but Naruto – with no intention but to make their relationship easier. Naruto left Konoha on solo missions and he’d spent most of the times, after completing his missions, by being with Sasuke.

As one day, Sasuke said something that he would probably regret all his life:

“We should revive our clans. I’m the last Uchiha, and you are probably the last Uzumaki”

   Naruto was, of course, taken aback by Sasuke’s words. He was hurt, he can never deny it, but he tried to be strong. Sasuke saw the reaction change on Naruto’s face – quickly, he explained to Naruto what he meant by that. Before anything else, it would be a good thing that they could have their own child, to ‘prevent’ the bad talking in the future. But then, it was a stupid idea and Sasuke wished he never said it in the first place. They have agreed and Naruto married to Hinata and they have two kids, while he went to Sakura one night only to realize what he had done as soon as Sakura said that he was pregnant. In the end, he couldn’t bear seeing Naruto too attached to his kids – so he left. He left Konoha without telling anyone anything. Not even Naruto knows. And again, he had done stupid things without even thinking about the consequences.

   Sometimes, he wondered who’s the stupid one here – is it him or the ‘dead-last’ Naruto. But now he realized that it was always him and his stupid decision. Naruto was never wrong all these times and Sasuke was too blind to see everything. He thought he was solving a problem while he never truly solves anything. All he did was cause a mess and Naruto would always be the one to clean his mess up.

   He came back. Fifteen years later, with Naruto as the seventh Hokage. Everything’s changed, Naruto’s oldest kid Boruto is the same age as his daughter. Everytime he sees Boruto, Himawari, or Sarada, it pains him. Because he thought that having kids to continue the bloodline would solve everything. While in reality it solves nothing but brings him pain and a broken heart. Or maybe hearts, because he knew that he broke Naruto’s heart too when he brought up the idea.

   And then he was there, face-to-face with the love of his life. All grown up with his shorter blonde lock and perfectly shaped face thanks to age. Naruto’s still his, but at the same time he knew that Naruto wasn’t his fully – that bitch Hinata probably forced Naruto to wear the wedding ring and it looked like it was mocking Sasuke with its’ brilliant color. He hated it, he despised it. But Sasuke brought it on himself.

   “Where have you been all these years, teme?” Naruto’s voice sounded so broken, and his face is showing the same emotions that could be found with his tone. Hurt, love, and betrayed. It broke Sasuke’s heart to million pieces. “I thought you were dead, Sasuke”

   Out of all people Sasuke wanted to hear that sentence from, he never wished to hear it from Naruto. But then again, it happened and Sasuke is the cause of it. Sasuke has been the cause of Naruto’s every pain.

   “I am so sorry Naruto,” was all that could escape from his lips. The rest of the words had died on his throat just before he was able to say them to Naruto.

  “I cried – every single night, Sasuke. I prayed to whoever that can listen to me. I searched for you everywhere for fifteen years. Hell, I thought that I have lost you and it pains me, Sasuke”

   But when Sasuke expected the worst from Naruto, all he got was a warm hug that he had missed every night for fifteen years. Naruto being the kind person he always had, accepted him so easily back to his life. And it made Sasuke felt even worse in front of Naruto. No matter what Sasuke did, Naruto would always accept him with open arms.

   They kissed, they make out. They touch each-others for the hell of it. They missed each-others – they missed the love that they could feel nowhere else but from each-others. It was a night where Naruto leave all his jobs as a Hokage just because of Sasuke. They make up all night and it felt good. It’s so good to finally be reunited once again.

   “I’m tired of this, Naruto,” Sasuke said that night, his naked body pressed closely to Naruto’s own. “I’m so tired of keeping our relationship in secret, and you know it”

Yes, of course Naruto know that. He, too, was so tired of keeping their relationship. Sure, he sometimes dreamed about how good it would be if the world knows about them. How good it would be if they accept their relationship.

And deep in his heart, Naruto knows that it would always be a dream – for them to be accepted by everyone.

   Sasuke sure was eager about this whole thing. Who wouldn’t? After 17 years of hiding a relationship without anyone but themselves knowing, Sasuke was right to say that he was tired. “I want every single being in this world to know that you,” he had his finger pointed straight to Naruto’s chest, “belong to me and me only”

   Naruto looked so torn and desperate about this whole thing. At one point, he agreed with Sasuke’s decision to make their relationship go public. But at other point, he didn’t want his worst nightmare to happen.

Is that the world would never accept their relationship. “And you think I don’t want that too? But what can we do about it? They would never accept us, Sasuke!”

“To hell with whatever they will think about us! I don’t care as long as you are here with me. As long as you can officially be mine,” Sasuke’s voice was softer after that, “isn’t that what matters…” he paused, “Dobe?”

   “Teme…” with that, Naruto took the risk. It will be worth it, he said. As long as he could be with Sasuke and no one would be able to separate them again. It would all be worth it.

And they promised that they won’t leave each-other again. They promised that they will be side by side again.

But then, Naruto’s greatest nightmare happened eventually. The whole world wasn’t happy with the news.

   It hurts when the world that they saved won’t accept them. It hurts to know that something as simple as love was being hated for no plausible reason. Because it’s not a good thing for a leader to be in love with a criminal, they said, but both knew it was something beyond that. The world is trying to get rid of them.

   Of course, who would’ve wanted the former Jinchūriki (Kyūbi is free now and he is enjoying his time outside of Naruto’s stomach) to rule a big village like Konoha, or the world’s worst criminal who have killed innocent people just to get a piece of information about his brother? And seeing this good opportunity, no one would ever want this to slide. If they could take them both out at once, why bother to pretend anymore?

   And just a week after they announced the breaking news to the world, Naruto give up his 2 years old position as the seventh Hokage. He gave up his childhood dream, and he did everything for Sasuke and Sasuke alone. He left his family behind just for Sasuke and he left all the respect he ‘earned’ – because nothing else matters if he’s with Sasuke.

   So they were gone. They disappeared from the spotlight. They moved to someplace that where no one would ever found them. They started a new life as a family with new identities in a place where people would accept them. They were happy as they what they are – lovers. But as they once again become the talk of the town – Sasuke might be calm and careless. Naruto however, didn’t take everything too lightly.

   Naruto was depressed. He was suicidal. Once again he took the weight of the world on his shoulder and he was suffering. He refused to do anything, even to eat. He refused to smile and he cried every night. He didn’t even bother to cover his weakness in front of Sasuke. All because he can’t stand the guilt he felt when people are talking bad – not about him but about Sasuke. And it pained Sasuke as well as it angered him. How could they do this to Naruto? He was beyond furious but he kept it to himself just to be strong for Naruto.

But it was never enough.

   And one day, they were shocked when a group of shinobi sent by every shinobi village around the world came crashing to the small town they lived at for nearly three years. They were sent to hunt them both down, and it made them felt so betrayed because the world they decided to protect, the world they once almost lost their lives just to save them from the greater evil, just turned against them. They said that if they let them live, they would be the greatest threat to the world.

   Until a katana to the heart and the fact that Kyūbi wasn’t inside of Naruto at the moment was all that made Sasuke completely snapped. He had slaughter every single shinobi that attacked them without any mercy, before actually watched Naruto died in his arms.

Sasuke swore to make the world pay for what they did to the love of his life. And knowing that his favorite vessel was killed because of assassination, Kyūbi was there to help Sasuke to get his revenge.

That was why he got out of his ‘nest’. Wearing Naruto’s black shirt and his old head-band that Naruto used to save just for him, Sasuke made his first public appearance after disappearing with Naruto. He made it clear to them about his heartache, about the pain of losing his beloved one to the world that he once saved. Sasuke made it clear by killing everyone that ever crossed his path. He took a slow tour to Konoha – visiting the villages that were participated in killing them. Iwagakure, Kumogakure, Takigakure, and the others as well, even Sunagakure (the former Kazekage Gaara helped him inside the village to kill almost everyone there – because he respected Naruto and he was upset by the news of Naruto killed by a group in which have Sunagakure nin too). As eventually he had Konohagakure as his top list.

   And thanks to technology, Sasuke got to spread his words. He liked to make sure that everything he said is clear before he continue what he was doing.

   “I would kill every single people I see; I would kill your beloved ones nice and slowly right in front of your eyes. I would slaughter your whole family and set them on eternal fire. I would make sure you know how hard it was for me when I lost Naruto. I should’ve known this would happen since the beginning, so I could watch you burn from the dark side and I would make sure each and every one of you would die painfully. I would rip the heart of your loved ones out of their chest and I will make sure you watch everything”

   He was going crazy and he knew it. Naruto probably wouldn’t like it if he sees Sasuke like this. But he wouldn’t care for the moment, because those shit-holes need to eat back their words – besides they deserve every single thing that Sasuke had or would do to them.

It felt too good when he finally slaughtered every single people in Konoha, and he did exactly what he promised them.

As the world ends in a bloody way, the last Uchiha knows the last thing he gotta do is to get Naruto back.

And the only way to achieve it is to activate the time travel Jutsu – to take Naruto away earlier than he should have done.
